Tuesdays Homeschool/Teen Pottery - 2022

$250

with Lara O'Keefe

OPEN TO STUDENTS 11 YEARS TO 18 YEARS OF AGE.

For many reasons art has been marginalized in some of our school systems and hands-on art experiences can be hard for parents to provide for middle school and high school students. Taught by Lara O’Keefe, a local professional potter with lifelong ties to the North Carolina arts community, this class is designed to fill that void in the world of ceramics.  Both hand building and wheel throwing techniques will be offered.  Group demonstrations combined with individualized support introduce the students to the tactile world of clay in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.

Clay will be provided. Wear old clothes – bring a hand towel and a friend or two!

Classes may be cancelled at short notice if the minimum attendance is not achieved. Your money will be refunded should this happen.
